Commenting
~~~~~~~~~~

The markdown files can have comments in the `following three formats`__::

  [comment]: <> (This is one type of comment.)
  [//]: <> (This is another type of comment.)
  [//]: # (This is the third type of comment.)

The comments won't make it to the generated HTML.
